To download and install the software, please use the following Installation Guides:

Installing the latest Updates 6.20.x and 6.22

To get in favor of the latest minor features and bugfixes, you need to have a valid license. The article Updating Open-Xchange Server packages packages explains how that can be done.

Update Guide from 6.20.7 to 6.22

The execution of changes is mostly automated, but administrators will need to make some manual changes. Open-Xchange has provided a special Update Page with all necessary information.

Please note that the update to v6.22 is only supported from an installed version 6.20.7 or later. If you have an earlier version of Open-Xchange Server 6 installed, please update to the latest release of v6.20 before attempting an update to v6.22.

There is also a complete overview document to assist you in making a successful update to this new major version:

Advanced Server Edition (ASE)

Open-Xchange Advanced Server Edition is a multi-tier, small footprint solution that integrates seamlessly into customers architectures enabling smooth start of operation based on flexible services with Enterprise Linux distribution, identity management and Infrastructure management.

Please Note: All updates, including operating system update, will be supplied by Open-Xchange directly to the server itself via the web based built-in updater. This service will be provided to all maintenance paying customers. If there are any configuration changes which don't fit the Univention Configuration Registry (UCR) Scheme Support can't be guaranteed.

Open-Xchange will discontinue maintenance and support for Open-Xchange Advanced Server Edition (OX ASE) on November 30, 2013. Customers with a valid maintenance subscription will continue to receive software updates and technical support until that date. However we recommend that customers using OX ASE should consider migrating to “Open-Xchange Server Edition for Univention Corporate Server“ (OXSE for UCS) before that date.
